Your mind is the scene of the crime
Christopher Nolan is one of the most skilled and successful directors of our time and his latest film Inception is no exception. The film is the director's first original story since its debut feature film Following and just like Following, the script of Inception is a masterpiece. The cast of the film is also something that should not be missed in a movie by any cinema fan. The main character Dom Cobb is portrayed by Leonardo DiCaprio. Joseph Gordon-Levitt is in the role of Arthur, another important character in the movie. One of the most interesting characters is Ariadne and seeing Ellen Page in the role is amazing. There is also Ken Watanabe, Michael Caine, Tom Berenger, Dileep Rao and Marion Cotillard in the cast and they add to the delicious meal presented to us. The story takes place in a time where corporate espionage is so common and it is possible to penetrate people's minds through their dreams and steal their ideas. Dom Cobb is one of the best thieves of ideas and secrets and he chases the next big thing all the time. However, him being the best cost him everything in his life and everyone he stole something from is after him. One day he is offered a job, but it is a very unusal and unlikely one. If he can pull it off, he can have his life back. The job is penetrating someone's mind but not stealing something, he and his team need to plant an idea to this mind and it is very dangerous. It has not been done before and if they are caught, this is the end of everything. The film is indeed complex, but the director is very good at making the film easier to follow without sacrificing any good piece. It has emotions, action, intelligence, mystery and a thrilling story all combined in one piece. The film is Christopher Nolan at his best, this is one of the things everyone should witness as the followers of good quality materials. Especially for the fans of Nolan, seeing everything but this would be like having a Dark Knight without the legendary Joker portrayal of Heath Ledger.
